Blu Balances provides bookkeeping services to small businesses, including but not limited to transaction categorization, account reconciliation, financial reporting, and related support. The specific scope, deliverables, and pricing for your engagement will be set out in a separate service agreement or proposal. These Terms apply in addition to any such agreement; if there is a conflict, the signed service agreement controls.
Blu Balances provides bookkeeping services only. We are not a CPA firm and do not provide audit, attestation, tax preparation, tax filing, or legal services. Nothing we provide should be construed as tax or legal advice. You are responsible for consulting a qualified CPA, tax professional, or attorney for those matters.
We rely on the information you provide. We are not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or untimely information.
Fees are billed according to the pricing tier and schedule specified in your service agreement. Unless otherwise stated, invoices are due upon receipt. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue services for accounts with past-due balances. Fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in your service agreement.
Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice as specified in the service agreement. Upon termination, you remain responsible for fees for services rendered through the termination date. Upon request and settlement of outstanding balances, we will provide reasonable assistance in transitioning your records.
We treat your financial information as confidential and handle it consistent with professional bookkeeping standards and our Privacy Policy. We will not disclose your information except as needed to provide services or as required by law.
By providing your contact information, you agree to receive communications from us, including automated emails and text messages, and you acknowledge that phone calls may be recorded. Details on how to opt out and how we handle these communications are described in our Privacy Policy.
All content on the Blu Balances website, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by or licensed to Blu Balances and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blu Balances shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Blu Balances in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
